Bel Air, MD – March 31, 2009 – Platinum Performance Group (PPG) has joined forces with Beacon Associates, Inc. (Beacon) to bring best-in-breed performance improvement to commercial and government customers. The newly dubbed Beacon Performance Group will exist as a specialized practice within Beacon Associates, and their goal will be to “deliver business results” to their customers, who range from Fortune 200 companies to large departments within the Federal Government.

Beacon Associates is a management consulting and technology company headquartered in Bel Air, MD that delivers organizational effectiveness solutions to the Federal Government, state and local Government, higher education, and private companies. Some of their core capabilities include leadership training, organizational development, performance improvement, and human capital initiatives. Major clients include the Departments of Health and Human Services, Treasury, Interior, and Homeland Security, and NASA. 

The founding partners of PPG, Mason Holloway and Dennis Mankin, will continue to deliver their distinguished performance improvement products and services, including their proprietary Performance DNA™ methodology, tools, and processes that thousands of satisfied clients have come to rely on. Now, as part of Beacon Associates under the name Beacon Performance Group, Mason and Dennis will have the bench strength of Beacon’s strong organizational effectiveness track record in Federal government.

With the creation of Beacon Performance Group, Dennis and Mason will work with Susan Grunin, in conjunction with Beacon’s Business Development Department, to bring Performance DNA™ and other PPG performance improvement products and services to the Federal Government. Likewise, Beacon will leverage PPG’s contacts and experience to continue increasing the company’s presence in the commercial sector in core areas such as training, organizational development, and human capital initiatives.

Beacon and PPG officially joined at the end of March.
